Entrepreneurial university students and graduates say Labor’s Startup Year idea could help break the shackles of corporate career conformism that predominates at tertiary institutions.
Jonathan Herman, 23, is a final year commerce and information systems student at the University of NSW. He said Startup Year sounded “productive and meaningful” for helping students take their business ideas seriously.
