Two months after it laid off half its staff to try to shelter itself from the global tech wreck, health tech start-up HealthMatch has closed a fresh $10 million funding round, which its co-founder says will allow it to rehire some of its axed staff and hopefully ride out the choppy markets.
HealthMatch has grown rapidly since first emerging in 2017 as the inaugural (and only) winner of US publication TechCrunch’s Startup Battlefield competition, and has closed three previous external funding rounds, most recently of $18 million in December 2020.
