Replica Ozempic and Mounjaro will be banned by October

Tens of thousands of Australians will be kicked off their weight loss medication in October after the government decided to ban chemists from replicating the blockbuster drugs Ozempic and Mounjaro on safety grounds.
The ruling is a major blow to the online health start-up Eucalyptus and insurer NIB’s Midnight Health, which are two of the largest prescribers of the medication, alongside individual general practitioners.
