Providoor scraps hot food to concentrate on frozen meals

Rebooted online restaurant marketplace Providoor will ditch its strategy of delivering hot meals, based on celebrity chef recipes, after finding the fast delivery required was impossible through the likes of Uber Eats and Menulog, and will now focus exclusively on selling frozen family meals.

Until now, Providoor has been offering both frozen and cooked meals, based on the recipes of well-known chefs including Matt Preston, Silvia Colloca, Anna Polyviou, George Calombaris and Manu Feildel. The hot meals were prepared in its own kitchens, and then sent to customers by delivery drivers.
