Tim Reed’s Potentia Capital snaps up Tokyo HR software start-up
Potentia Capital, the private equity firm run by former MYOB chief executive Tim Reed and veteran investor Andy Gray, is searching for more deals in Japan after snapping up a fast-growing Japanese human resources software company.
The Australian software investor has jointly acquired Jinjer, one of Japan’s fast-growing HR software-as-a-service players, alongside Japanese private equity firm J-Star. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but The Australian Financial Review understands Jinjer was valued at around $500 million.
