Ozempic’s ‘an eating disorder’: Kayla Itsines and tech entrepreneur clash
One of the world’s most recognisable fitness instructors, Kayla Itsines, has lashed the Ozempic slimming craze, calling its aesthetic use “an eating disorder”. Her broadside at The Australian Financial Review Entrepreneur Summit on Tuesday turned the panel discussion into a pointed exchange with one of the country’s highest-profile young tech entrepreneurs.
Itsines, the co-founder of fitness video app Sweat, who has made a career and plenty of cash out of being svelte, said women her size were taking Ozempic to stay thin.
