Ryan Holsheimer, formerly one of JPMorgan’s most senior bankers in Asia, has returned home to the Gold Coast, swapping investment banking for venture capital with a new $50 million fund backed by wealthy Queensland families and global banking executives.

Mr Holsheimer retired from investment banking in 2022 after a career with Wall Street giants including Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and JPMorgan, where he was most recently the Asia Pacific head of cash equity and equities distribution in Hong Kong.
