How Will Lopes is bringing Audible's magic to Catapult
When COVID-19 hit, Catapult Sports chief executive Will Lopes was worried revenue would dry up as competition sports globally were cancelled and athletes were sent home to train, but a change in strategy before the pandemic means it is stronger than ever.
The company, which last week said it had reached positive cash flow of $9 million a year earlier than expected, supplies 3000 of the world's elite sporting teams with GPS-based performance tracking technology and data analytics software. The software is designed to improve the performance of athletes and lower their risk of injuries.
