In the Kala Lagaw Ya language of Badu Island in the Torres Strait, “Baidam” refers to the hammerhead shark – a powerful symbol of protection, strength and leadership. It’s an apt name for a cybersecurity firm dedicated to hunting down and countering digital threats while safeguarding communities.
