Coles launches social ad campaign to solve tech worker drought

Supermarket giant Coles is taking the unprecedented step of launching an advertising campaign with the sole purpose of finding 70 new technology staff to work on its eCommerce business.

The recruitment move by Coles, which employs 120,000 people nationally, underlines how companies across industries are having to come up with new ways to solve the skills shortages that threaten to undermine their digital growth plans.
