Brisbane’s Go1 becomes Australia’s newest ‘unicorn’ with mega-raise
Go1 a Brisbane-based online corporate training marketplace founded by four former high school friends in 2015, has closed one of the biggest ever local funding rounds, raising $US200 million ($278 million) in a deal that values it as a so-called ‘unicorn’ at greater than $US1 billion.
The investment size is second only to a $US250 million investment in Campaign Monitor back in 2014 locally, and was led by Softbank, from its enormous $US30 billion Vision Fund 2, alongside existing Australian investor AirTree Ventures and Salesforce Ventures.
