Australian investors pouring money into US AI companies, such as Mira Murati’s Thinking Machines Lab, should not be a cause for celebration in the local industry.
Earlier this month The Australian Financial Review reported Square Peg Capital and AirTree Venture’s participation in a $3 billion Silicon Valley funding round for US-based AI startup, Thinking Machines Lab.
This big deal is not cause for celebration.
