The first thing Kate Burleigh does when she wakes up in the morning, before she even says good morning to her husband, is talk to her computer.

It's something that she could only dream about doing when she worked at Intel (Burleigh was the first woman to run Intel Australia), back when visionaries like Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates were promising the world that talking to your computer was going to be the next big thing in PCs.
