Software giant Adobe will launch new artificial intelligence tools it says are commercially safe for businesses to use without fearing copyright infringement, advancing its battle for the design market with Australian tech darling Canva.

Nasdaq-listed since 1986, Adobe is Canva’s biggest rival. It has spent the past decade fighting off emerging start-up competitors, which have quickly embedded AI software into their products.
