Well known agricultural sector dealmaker Sam McClure is set to join the powerful Victor Smorgon Group, a family office based in Melbourne, to oversee its investments in the sector.

McClure, who was a partner at KPMG Corporate Finance and ran its M&A public markets team, will be tasked with finding acquisitions in food and agriculture and helping VSG increase its already hefty portfolio.
