TA Associates-backed insurance broker Honan Insurance Group is on an M&A hot streak, striking its sixth acquisition in the past six months as it tries to topple the big global American-owned players in its sector.
Honan has a deal to acquire Certus Insurance Brokers, a 20-year-old Kiwi firm with 15 risk advisers and brokers operating out of Auckland, in a bid to bulk up its presence across the Tasman.
