Sydney non-bank lender storms Bis Industries’ $150m refi

The Carlyle Group and Varde Partners’ underground coal mining equipment provider Bis Industries is set to bid farewell to its lender syndicate, as an Alvarez & Marsal-run refinance hits the final lap after months of tense negotiations.

BIS Industries, which provides mine-site trucking to some of Australia’s largest coal and iron ore miners, has debt maturing in April. AFR
