Macquarie’s venture division plugs into manufacturing platform Atelier

Sydney-based manufacturing platform Atelier is $10 million richer after finalising its Series A funding round led by Macquarie Capital’s venture capital division.

Macquarie director Jonathan Lay spearheaded the deal, putting a term sheet in front of Atelier within four weeks of it being in-market. Other investors included Daniel Attia, the former head of research for famed US entrepreneur Scott Galloway; Payapps co-founder and former Deutsche Bank vice chairman Geoff Tarrant; and Rayn Ong’s Archangel Ventures.
