Lynas warning lights still flashing

The party could be short-lived for Lynas shareholders awaiting a Malaysian government green light for its controversial rare earths plant in Kuantan.

After Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad announced last week that his administration would withdraw a demand for Lynas to export low level radioactive residue back to Australia, the stock rallied hard on Friday, up more than 6 per cent to $2.69.
