How CBA PERLS IX margin rates against peers

Commonwealth Bank of Australia's ninth hybrid issue may be more risky than old-style issues, but Morningstar analysts are recommending clients jump into the offer.

"We assign CBAPF a medium investment risk rating, the same as other major bank AT1 hybrids in our coverage list," Morningstar told clients on Tuesday morning.
