Real Pet Food appoints Citi for $1 billion sale

Private equity-backed Real Pet Food Company has taken the first real step towards a potential change of control.

Street Talk can reveal RPFC’s Asia-based backers – Temasek, Hosen Capital, New Hope Group, CIC International and GenBridge Capital – have appointed Citi to consider its strategic options, including a trade sale.
