Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Adia to sell $2b-plus Transgrid stake

NSW electricity transmission company Transgrid has already been at the centre of two major ownership shake-ups this year. Now, a third is looming.

Weeks after Canadian pension giant OMERS sold a portion of its holding to Australia’s sovereign wealth fund, Future Fund, Street Talk understands Abu Dhabi Investment Authority’s Tawreed Investments is preparing to offload its entire 19.99 per cent position.
