It fell to chief gloomster Eddie Jones to put Australian rugby out of its collective misery.
After acting like a petulant man-child for months in the face of media scrutiny – lashing out at journalists who clearly were on to the story the entire time – Jones, on Sunday night, exited the Wallabies.
