The wildfire caused by the decades-long offshore tax evasion scheme started by MinRes founder Chris Ellison and his old friends always had the possibility of spreading.
Last week, MinRes said Ellison would step down after the board confirmed weeks of reporting in these pages about his tax affairs, flagrant use of company resources and destruction of emails. Chairman James McClements would also go.
