Telstra's latest management reshuffle has elevated Robyn Denholm, the telecom's new CFO, making her one of those potentially in line for Andy Penn's gig in time.

Before joining Telstra two years back, Denholm had spent two decades working overseas. Her most intriguing continuing role from that time is as a board member and audit committee chairwoman at Tesla. And Elon Musk has so much razzle dazzle that when it came time to introduce Denholm internally, we hear Penn touched on her role at Tesla before any of her executive roles, at Telstra and elsewhere.
