Talk is cheap for Australia’s best paid vice chancellor
Hannah WoottonReporterUniversity of Melbourne’s $1.5 million vice chancellor Duncan Maskell believes university should be free.
He made the case to staff and students at the university on Tuesday night, arguing that to do so would make university more widely accessible in a shift “fundamentally about the population we want to shape for the future of the country”.
