Under former coach Paul Roos, the Sydney Swans adopted a “no dickheads” policy regarding recruitment. It was about bringing through players who weren’t just good at kicking goals, but also good role models, which would form a harmonious culture. It was a catchy name and drew in admirers from other codes. You’ll even run into try-hard CEOs who use the coinage.
