When commencing his defamation lawsuit against the operator of the anonymous Twitter account that he claims accused him of insider trading and other unlawful market manipulations, cashed-up mining exec Tolga Kumova said he was taking a stand against a "social media troll".

"Many victims are not in the position to be able to take on an international legal case. I am, and I have decided to do so because it is the right thing to do."
