Star teal candidate did the property deal of a lifetime

If the Simon Holmes à Court-backed teals have any chance of snatching a new blue-ribbon seat off the Liberal party, it could be Bradfield. It’s held by the retiring Paul Fletcher and runs the length of Sydney’s north shore.

The electoral commission recently collapsed North Sydney, so the boundaries now run from Willoughby, all the way up the Pacific Highway through Killara, out to St Ives, and to Hornsby. It also means the Liberal’s margin has shrunk to 2.5 per cent.
