When Prime Minister Scott Morrison sets off for Washington and New York on September 19, it will be the first outing of the Royal Australian Air Force’s newest VIP aircraft.

A Qantas A330 converted in 2015 by Airbus to a freighter and air-to-air refueller, the KC30-A tanker has also been configured to ferry the Prime Minister and his accompanying troupe on major overseas trips.
