But the marriage of Institute of Public Affairs policy director Gideon Rozner to Ilia Benattar on Sunday further showcased a Melbourne awakening with gusto from a long slumber. At least as far as its establishment families are concerned.

Rozner is both the stepson of Smorgon family scion David Smorgon and a contributor at Sky News. Both blue bloods and blue ties were thus well represented at the nuptials.
