Writing (turgidly) in The Australian on Thursday, former Queensland Labor secretary Cameron Milner vouched for Professor Peter Coaldrake‘s integrity review of the Queensland government as “compelling reading” and reckoned “Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk should be lauded for committing to implementing the review’s recommendations in their entirety and to the letter.”
This is audacious theatre given one of Palaszczuk’s first responses to Coaldrake’s final report was to ban Milner from lobbying her government for the next three years.
