KPMG auditors caught using AI to cheat on tests

Using AI on assessments is already rampant among schoolkids and uni students, so it was only a matter of time before staff at consulting firms jumped on board.

The most embarrassing part of the scandal involving Deloitte using artificial intelligence in a report for the government in August wasn’t that the firm used the technology, or that it got caught lying about doing so.

It wasn’t even the fact that it had to repay the Department of Employment part of its fee. It was the fact that its consultants used AI so badly that the report was littered with errors.
