After 3½ years sitting on the Australian Agricultural Company’s board without a share to her name, director Jessica Rudd spent $40,000 on 32,258 shares at $1.24 each last week.

When the daughter of Australia’s former prime minister joined AACo in November 2017, shares in the beef giant closed at $1.56. Patience has thus saved her about $10,322.
