Cultural exaggeration aside, it really is one of the defining portraits of recent times. The Vincent Namatjira painting of Gina Rinehart hanging in the National Gallery of Australia, that this column revealed so reviled her that she launched a campaign to have it removed. That of course turned it into viral content, and saw visits to the NGA surge earlier this year.

The mega-billionaire appears to be on a mission to re-cast her portrait ever since. There was publication of a painting on her website. Now, it turns out there’s been another effort in France during the Olympics.
