Whether it was intended as a pristine example of sardonic comedy, or simply a nod to mannerly custom, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s attachment of Order of Australia honorifics to its list of Star Entertainment defendants is a delightful early Christmas present (for this column, anyway).
