We return, inevitably, to the fate of the companies orbiting Philip Kingston's Sargon. Or as some wags have taken to calling it, SarGONE.

Chinese state-owned enterprise China Taiping Insurance Group last month appointed McGrathNicol as receiver of the parent company, Sargon Capital (to which it is the sole secured creditor). And last week, voluntary administrators from EY were appointed to seven subsidiaries of the group. Preliminary documents show EY's administrators have already met with Sargon board member (and ex-Labor minister) Stephen Conroy, Kingston, and Fiona Borrelli (Sargon's general counsel and Kingston's wife).
