It was Ewen Crouch’s first outing as Corporate Travel Management chairman and boy, wasn’t the former chairman of law firm Allens sticking to the script.

Take the time one shareholder asked for clarification about whether guidance given at the meeting was for earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation or earnings per share. Also, was it going to be 10 to 15 per cent or 10 to 16 per cent? Black and white questions, right?
