Commonwealth courts take cues from the west

The homage has been delightfully noted across Perth's legal fraternity. 

So much for the Wait Awhile state. When the High Court released its findings against former High Court justice Dyson Heydon on Monday afternoon, it took the courts and tribunals of Western Australia only two days to respond.

"Sexual harassment in any workplace is unlawful and wholly unacceptable," read a statement signed by WA Chief Justice Peter Quinlan as well as the heads of the state's five other court jurisdictions.
