Rich Lister Clive Palmer is suing former Australian Securities and Investments Commission chairman James Shipton, proving that the months of lurid yellow ads attacking the ex-regulator weren’t quite enough.
The billionaire’s suit was filed in the Federal Court on Tuesday by Palmer’s long-time legal advisers at Alexander Law, and follows an earlier legal threat against Shipton issued on the website of Palmer’s United Australia Party in December.
