CFMEU foists officials onto the board of Cbus

The CFMEU is being administered by Mark Irving KC. But he doesn’t call all the shots, as shown by the appointment of Paddy Crumlin to Cbus.

The triumphant return of the CFMEU to the board of Cbus was this week achieved, to the noted unease of the prudential regulator.

APRA doesn’t yet consider Cbus has properly reviewed its board governance (as it is required to), and says it will consider “whether further action is appropriate”. Foolhardy is the financial institution which thumbs its nose at its regulator.
