It’s been three years since residents of a quiet street in Sydney’s leafy Rozelle were treated to the sight of TV cameras camped outside a particularly flashy complex belonging to Forum Finance chief Bill Papas.
After his alleged fraud against Westpac and others was discovered, he fled the country for the coastal Greek city of Thessaloniki. A few months later, his Rozelle residence was sold for $4.4 million by liquidators.
