At Macquarie’s annual conference in Sydney on Thursday, Seven scion Ryan Stokes filled out the room for a fireside chat.

There was a lot to cover, and little about the shrinking media business, which it must be said is but a pimple in the broader Seven Group corpus. Few questions came in from the room, leading the Macquarie operative interviewing the Seven chief to quip that they must have covered the right topics.
