Last week, iron ore billionaire Andrew Forrest threatened to use his 18.5 per cent stake in listed fish farmer Huon Aquaculture to block its full takeover by Brazilian meat processor JBS unless both committed to higher environmental and animal welfare standards.
Bear in mind, Huon is already the only Australian seafood producer approved by the RSPCA.
