Why a former Supreme Court judge is selling his Woollahra mansion

Retired Supreme Court judge Michael Pembroke and his wife Gillian have put their grand 1929-built Woollahra home of the past 30 years on the prestige market with a price guide of $17 million as they plan a harbourside move.

Pembroke, who served as a NSW Supreme Court judge from 2010 to 2020, told The Australian Financial Review the decision to sell the long-held family home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs was unexpectedly brought forward.
