Sauna devotee Meegan Eves was sceptical that a portable pod would give her the sweat she craves, but she took the plunge after being reassured by a friend who uses one.

“I had looked at them before, and I thought they’re not going to work,” said Ms Eves, of Lane Cove in Sydney. “But a friend who had it for a few months loved it and told me those things get very hot, and they give you a really good sweat on.”
