Nearly $2 billion of residential and hospitality projects are set to transform a pocket of the country’s worst-performing office market – St Kilda Road on the Melbourne city fringe – into a high-end apartment and hotel destination.
A 600-metre stretch of the commercial boulevard from Toorak Road to Leopold Street – just beyond the new Anzac metro station – is home to five projects that will deliver about 600 apartments and more than 100 hotel rooms over the next four to five years.
