Sydney arm of Smorgon dynasty offers $60m-plus Vaucluse waterfront

Moses Smorgon was one of three Russian brothers who migrated to Australia on a converted cattle ship in 1927. He disembarked in Melbourne, where the brothers opened a kosher butcher shop on Carlton’s Lygon Street.

Almost a century on, his grandson Barry Smorgon is selling his home in one of Sydney’s most expensive streets for north of $60 million.
