REA Group revenue falls 6pc on drop in property listings

The owner of property web site realestate.com.au said first-half revenue and core profit both fell as nationwide property listings dropped 14 per cent.

REA Group said its first-half profit from core operations fell 13 per cent to $152.9 million from $176.6 million.

Revenue fell 6 per cent to $440.3 million in the six months ended December 31 from $469.2 million in the year-earlier period, the owner of realestate.com.au said in a statement to the Australian stock exchange.
