A Mornington Peninsula mansion has sold for $17 million, with the hefty deal taking place well outside the prestige page staple suburbs of Portsea and Sorrento.

In fact, it’s a 45-minute drive back towards Melbourne CBD in Frankston South, a suburb that was, until about a week ago, yet to crack the $10 million mark.
